Oil spill booms in Ny-Ålesund |

 The Norwegian Coastal Administration moved 450 meters of booms to contain oil spills from Longyearbyen to Ny-Ålesund on June 1. The equipment is part of the national preparedness against oil spills. Kings Bay AS has been given the responsability to deploy the booms in case of an oil spill near Ny-Ålesund.
